Philips CrystalVision Upgrade Bright Headlight Review

Bright white? Not closed. Replaced my stock headlights and although these CrystalVision bulbs are whiter they are closer to yellow than advertised. My car also has a DRL system and when it's on these Phillips bulbs only emit amber light similar to standard bulbs. Although they appear brighter than my standard bulbs, it's not easy to tell the difference as I've replaced bulbs that are 4 years or older. If you need whiter light I would recommend a different brand. Otherwise it serves its purpose.

I bought two sets for my 2014 Toyota Tundra and 2018 Toyota Yaris (they use the same bulb). As you can see from the picture, the Philips bulb is whiter than the standard bulb, which I prefer. These bulbs are not marked H3 or H4 in the description but they are listed as matching Toyota FJ Cruiser bulbs. Although they are the right size and shape. At first I thought it was H3, but after looking closely at the lamp, it turned out that they have a double filament. (double for low beam and high beam H4). I really like these lightbulbs. I used them on my 1993 Honda CBR1000F. Of course I had to modify the base to fit the unique Honda only H4 setup, but I've done this before so it was easy and I was able to modify it quickly and accurately. 11/2019 Wow, this headlight lasted me 2 years. In the end he jumped out and brought a new one. I cannot believe the amazingly high quality of these lamps. Of course, when it came time to buy new ones, I went back to the same thing. There are a few screws, tighten here and tighten there before you're done.
