TV speakers got louder

To be honest I have a Philips TV and thought they would go well with it. You are not. I was able to plug them in and turn them on, but I quickly realized that these speakers are quieter than real TV speakers. I spent 30 minutes adjusting the settings on my TV and soundbar and decided to reset them.

Pros
  • One year test
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Holy shot! for home audio

Wow, how much sound it makes. Your floor will shake, your head will spin in search of speakers you don't have. Connect the HDMI elbow on the speaker to the HDMI elbow on the TV, then connect the HDMI outputs that support Atmos (Apple TV, Xbox) directly to the HDMI 1 and 2 jacks on the speaker and you'll know , when it happens because you will feel the rumble. .

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Some flaws

This is the cheapest true 3.1 soundbar I've found. I don't consider a soundbar to have true 3.1 capability unless it has an adjustable center dialogue channel feature, which this one does. Since broadcasters suppress the dialogue channel, I find it particularly necessary for people (especially men) over 40. I bought this for a friend and after setting it up and setting it up for clear dialogue she loved it.

  • Pleasant

Very clear center channel and overall good price

Replaces the existing Vizio 2.1 soundbar. The difference is amazing. Clear voices without having to overload the volume. The subwoofer is quite large, but I managed to put it next to the sofa and it got good SAF (Matrimonial Acceptance Factor) scores :-). Our 20ft ceilings are a bit high to allow ATMOS to be effective at lower volumes. I also had to move the soundbar forward from the TV to play the pitch-encoded sounds. It takes about 20 seconds for the soundbar to turn on via the ARC…

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Protection
