Poor design is best for laundry and utility facilities

Imperfect design. Works well for unplugging a pipe, but good luck when you're done. When tightening, the bottom (red) part enters the black rubber part, but when unscrewing it doesn't come out. I had to push it into the tube, not pull it out. Luckily, the shower drain I tested was not yet connected, so I was able to pull out the lower part from under the drain (EG). In short, bad design!

Poorly Described

I believe the seller MUST SPECIFY that the pipe size is 1-1/2" the outside diameter of the pipe. This is well known to professionals and plumbing connoisseurs, but not newbies like myself. Of course I MUST measure the inside diameter, but I assumed the SELLER took all of these things into account before formulating an ad for the product, saying it was too tight.

The easiest do-it-yourself repair!

I accidentally knocked over a garage wash stopcock and with it a threaded socket (in parts) that was glued to a pipe and buried in the wall. It seems impossible to fix without destroying the wall! Then I searched and found this sweet baby! All I had to do was trim the sleeve to smooth the edges. Then I stuck this bad boy in, tightened as directed, wiggled hard and the fork was ready to go! Super simple and reliable solution.

Will not fit 1 1/2 " pipe

I bought these to cover the pipe under the kitchen sink which is a 1 1/2" pipe. I struggled to fit this connector upside down in the tube in a tight space and couldn't. Couldn't figure out why until I measured and found that the outside diameter of the SMALL rubber grommets in this connector was about 1 3/4 inches. Obviously it's too big to fit in the pipe to seal it. Either I received a defective device or it does not work as described. Or maybe I don't understand how to use it, but then I…

Works to plug a cracked fresh water tank in an RV.

So, my toy trailer (RV) has a fresh water drain pipe burst where the pipe connects to the tank. The tank is 1/8" thick and has a 1.83" stamped hole. , 1.5β€³ below and 2β€³ above, it fits into the hole (when sanding flush), and when tightened, it expands and seals the detergent reservoir on both sides. a piece of plastic that acts as an expansion plug, otherwise it will become clogged and very difficult to remove. It seals tight, perfect for a job it wasn't designed for and if I was using it for…

Unique bad design

2 problems with this product.1. This plug is suitable when you need a permanent drain or pipe plug. Once you have tightened it, close the hand screw that pulls the plastic part of the stopper into the rubber housing. This increases the diameter of the rubber part to seal the pipe. Excellent. We want that. Trouble is, if you ever need to remove the plug for drain maintenance, then loosening the hand screw will do literally nothing. The plastic plug is ALWAYS stuck in the rubber case.2. But let's
