Good but hard on newborns

This product prevents ink from getting onto the baby. At the same time, however, the spaces between the fingers are lost if the pressure is too high. And the newborn will not sit for anyone! lol

Pros
  • Trial for a year
Cons
  • Little things

Easy to use! at Hand & Footprint Makers

This product is self-explanatory and easy to use. My only complaint is that the ink is too dark and you can't see the lines and fingerprints on the kid's hand. Otherwise, this product can be given to parents.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Reliable

Too bad it came with instructions

This came without instructions. I mixed up one of them because it wasn't clear how to use it. The ink pad had one side, being careful to use the opposite side, but there was no explanation that I should already have paper underneath. I figured it would be like a regular ink pad where you press the ink and then into the paper. Made a mess.

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Factor Set

Cool but not perfect for newborn print

These are really great and I had fun using them with my baby. My only suggestion is not to use them on a newborn and wait until your child is a bit older to try to manipulate them just because newborns move around quite a bit and my son doesn't fully open his arms to a like that young child imprint a handprint the age. I couldn't capture a handprint and the footprint was also difficult to make due to its age.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons

Bought these to print my new granddaughter's footprint right after she was born. They are designed exclusively for newborns. They are not big enough for a toddler. I like that they are messy. Absolutely no black ink or acrylic paint to try and get that baby off your feet once you're done. The ink is on the opposite side of the child's leg. Just make sure you position it exactly in the center where you want it before pressing down on baby's foot and pressing firmly on their toes.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Annoying

Highly Recommended!

Feet are so easy to stomp. It's a bit more difficult to do by hand. The child always has his hands in a fist. It was a job for two. I would buy a deck of index cards and use a hardback book as a backup and just keep trying until I got what I liked. I really like how they came out! I was able to make about 50 prints from the 3 stamps that were sent in. These photos are just "good". I don't even count all the ones I threw away. Definitely recommended for an unforgettable gift.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • There are downsides
