I only give 5 stars because it does exactly what it promises. Good working antenna. It's not the best antenna ever made, but if you're looking for a good looking and powerful antenna this is it. There are no setting options for this, but a generally low SWR value. This allows you to quickly set up and start broadcasting.

Any large antenna works better than it's tuned. When do big dogs turn right? It's just a bumper sticker. I screwed the connector into the radio and the SWR was less than 1.3 over the entire range. You can talk 6 miles at 4 watts without going to hell for lying. You can listen to the locals without forgetting to wash them like big dogs with big ears do. He also likes 162MHz weather stations. The only downside is the 10-year warranty, which has to be picked up in Barcelona, Spain.

I was understandably disappointed when I opened the box and saw that the rubber pad/padding that was supposed to protect the car had been torn right out of the box. If you give this antenna less than 5 stars it is because you either have no idea about CB (or radio in general) or the settings are wrong. This antenna will never perform as well as a large whip or fiber optic antenna, but you should be aware that it only holds a 20" antenna. You can make the electrical length whatever you want, but when it comes to reception, it's the physical length that matters. So if you either don't want a large whip antenna for aesthetic reasons or you can't have one due…

Easy to install with very low SWR that can be reduced without much effort. For me it's a 1.1 out of the box and placed in the middle of my Toyota Sienna van. Welcome to President Randy! I can hear DX stations hundreds of miles away, but I'm still in the mud for those over about 5 miles or so. I recommend using the RM KL203P and President McKinley amplifier with this antenna to "come out" a little better.
