Photos are misleading - the model must be wearing shorts that are pulled up at the waist. When worn normally they cover my knees and are too similar to the old shorts below the knee. They're not as loose and flowy as the old style, but the length makes them an instant throwback for me.

I have no dislike just sympathy for these Puma shorts. They are very breathable, comfortable to wear and true to size. I will definitely order a second pair.
