Worked great as a beacon to locate my camper in the endless RV lake at King of The Hammers. I attached it to a PVC pipe with a PVC adapter. It flashes very brightly all night and charges during the day. There is a switch underneath to turn it off or you can turn it on and it will only flash at night. Excellent purchase.

Great Lite works as advertised. I use them at the end of the boat dock. During the day they are under bright sunlight and all night they blink without dimming the light. In fact, they are too bright when looking at the marina from home. So I used a piece of foil to block out the light so it could only be seen from the sea side. Works perfectly. Don't know if the batteries will be fully charged during an extended cloudy period, but so far so good.

I'm completing the video but for now let me say this light is worth the money. I was looking for a solar powered flashing light for a project I am completing. I bought this lamp after checking Amazon and other sites. I think there were only 7 reviews at the time but all were positive. With only 7 reviews for this product, it was worth the risk. I strongly recommend this product. Again, I will update the video with his work and placement for my project.

The lights are on, I think it's the owls that got my cats, so I put these pups on poles ten feet high. Night falls and nothing happens. I'm out there in the dark wondering why they aren't blinking. Anyone smarter than me probably already knows that there is a SWITCH in the base and the light doesn't work until it's turned on. After figuring out how to attach them firmly to a 1 1/2" PVC pipe (duct tape), I installed them in my yard. Terrible, one threw laid out on the first day! Others are fine so far! Contacted the seller and never got a reply! It looks like a 50/50 chance you'll get a good one, but there is no customer service. To update ! after a few months i finally got an answer from the seller who refunded me the money for the defective lamp. Updating this review as support finally responded and took care of the issue. Great little self contained unit, wish they were a bit brighter but they are easy to see at night. Turned on both lights to see if they worked and the photocell turned the light on and off as it should, both worked and I will put them in the sunlight to charge. The area I met gets the strongest sunlight 2/3 of the day and it seems to carry them through the night with no problems.
