Probably the best geiger counters you can get for the price. The collection is quite slow and the interface is a bit clumsy, but figuring everything out isn't difficult. Laying is cheap, but it's not exactly a fashion accessory. It's not particularly durable, so don't drop it on the ground or expose it to the weather. Before you buy, however, make sure that the upper range of the device (9.99 µSv/h) is suitable for the intended use. If you're interested in food testing and other low-level…

Small, inexpensive, works exactly as advertised

The first thing I did was a test. And it worked! The test was to see how this geiger counter performs at home, at work (big construction project) and with geological samples that I know are slightly radioactive (like natural granite). It works. It does exactly what it says on the tin and you can see how Geiger is reacting to his surroundings in real time (a small graphic is shown at the edge of the screen). Pros: The price is much lower than anything else I've seen on the market. . Almost every

  • Radiation protection consumables
Cons
  • Some small things

Final Verdict (long version) - easy to use (due to large buttons and large screen); - fairly accurate (depending on the level of radiation); and the main limitations: - no data transmission - limited detection range (up to 9.99, which is enough for everyday tasks). I have other RADEX devices and I am familiar with a Geiger counter/radiation detector. I test them all and compare the results to uranium glass, a source of beta radiation, and to standard granite home kitchen countertops. All of…
