We had a terrible winter race with lots of slush and seizures...

I have a 2012 Mini Cooper and live in the New York/Jersey City area. We had a terrible winter run with lots of slush and rain and the wipers on my car became unusable. Everything but the drizzle was not clear to put out and made it difficult to see while driving. I bought the Rain-X 18" and 19" blades which are SUPER easy to install, the old ones just popped out and the new ones slipped in and put back in place. I've used them in light rain (haven't had a heavy rain yet) and they're a million…

Wiper strip won't stay in place

Great at first, but other customers have experienced the wiper strip slipping out of the channel that holds it. After a few minutes of rubbing, I have to get out of the car and push her back a few inches. I am afraid that if I use the wipers at high speed they will fly out of my hands completely. It started a few months ago or after about 6 months of use. 6 months of record dry use in California to be precise, which probably equates to about a week in Seattle. Shame - I like the material the…

Where are my dog ears?

I wanted to crawl in here and complain about these wipers. I put them on 3 or 4 days ago and live in Oregon it's raining so I use my new wiper blades and all they do is smear the water around. Although I had enough to ride, I wasn't very happy with them. When I go to the post office today to get my mail, I look at the mount and see some extra holes in it, so I thought I might adjust it to put a little more pressure on the windshield. When I remove the wiper from the windshield, I notice that…

Not so good in cold weather

I needed new wiper blades for my Nissan Frontier and decided to try these as they had good reviews. I have used PIAAs before but found them too expensive. I installed the Rain-x slats in November and I can use them in all weather conditions. They began to work well in the rain and snow, cleaning the windshield without streaks. After a few months, however, they no longer adhere to the windshield, and there are a few spots that don't get cleaned. I think maybe it has something to do with…
