Wow! It burns like a thousand suns burning their deadly rays on your skin. I messed up and didn't do it right out of the shower because I was out today. Next time I'll do it right in the shower so I hope it's less painful. I've only shaved my underarms since I shaved my legs today. I had shaved my arms a few days before so the hair growth was around 5mm which is the longest length they recommend. I definitely wouldn't do it if my hair was longer. I love this epilator! I had one just like that a few years ago and it's one of my favorite hair removers and it's affordable. Lasts for years! I deal with PCOS so I have thicker body hair. The first use of one of these may not seem the best (of course) because you get all the hair the first time and it takes longer, but after the first time it's quick and easy to keep up with each hair. that pops up here and there. Overall this is a good product. If you've been shaving for years, remember that no matter what epilator you buy, it's GOING TO RUSH. Shavig makes hair thicker and fuller. The thicker the hair, the more it hurts. Epilators pull out hairs, so it's normal to see a little redness after each use, but IT'S GOING AGAIN.
