Garbage does not work do not buy!

doesn't work but unfortunately I couldn't install it until the return window was closed I don't recommend this thermostat to anyone, don't buy it!

Pros
  • NOTE. Features a soft spring style and 82C/180F settings.
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Do not buy. in spare parts

Garbage. The thermostat did not open after installation - at least not until the engine temp on the ScanGauge reached 208F. Don't let the motor heat up the mat, it's useless. It's either not 180 or it doesn't work. Bought a replacement from another seller. Do not buy this item.

Pros
  • TIP. If your Rover is overheating, the problem could be a faulty thermostat.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Definitely cools 10 degrees Fahrenheit

The engine was running at 216 degrees Fahrenheit according to the ECU but now only runs at 203,206 degrees Fahrenheit. I've been told on various forums that they don't open until 82Β°C / 180Β°F. The bottom line is that they run cooler, and with an aluminum block with liners, this can help prevent liner slippage and reset the fuel ratio because it's too cold.

Pros
  • OE REPLACEMENT - Replaces original part PEL500110
Cons
  • Slightly dented
