Good iron with great features!

This iron heats up instantly and feels light. The steam mode smoothes out wrinkles easily, while the spray works well on stubborn wrinkles. Very good iron.

excellent iron in iron and steam iron

I quilt and iron all the time. Having said that, I bought many irons, tried many irons at quilt shows, until finally I found this one. That's great. Heats up sufficiently, perfectly smooths wrinkles, steams perfectly, light, switches off automatically after a certain time - heats up quickly after a long period of standing. I am very satisfied with this iron - by the way, I bought another one for my sister-in-law. I even accidentally left it overnight with no issues.

Bad iron in irons and steamers

I bought it because of the many 'good' reviews. now, in less than a few months, it started leaking and shutting down without warning. The knob is too close to the temperature dial, and when I reached out to pet it, the setting kept changing. I had other models before so I went back to this model but this product didn't even last and unfortunately I don't have a 'window' to return it in a few days! I'll use another model, or at least one I can actually hold, and see if it does the same.

Got a Lemon - Iron and Steam Iron

After high ratings, enthusiastic comments from some customers and marketing of the Rowenta product, we were excited about our new Rowenta Focus Xcel iron. Despite having the iron on, after +1 hour of waiting in vain for the soleplate to heat up, we finally resigned ourselves to getting a lemon. It is unfortunate that Rowenta does not have better quality control and final inspection before shipping the product. We will be very reluctant to buy another Rowenta product as the chance that we will…

Sucks in almost every way

#1. Will not fit in standard sized built-in ironing closets found in many high-end closets. The door does not close completely #2. The dial has the usual linen and delicate indicators but no pointer to tell you where to turn the knob. Is the entire trail hottest on the left? Or to the right? You have to check to understand it. #3. Once you figure it out and max it out, vapor still only comes out when you feel like it. Steam comes out when you press the shot of steam button. Normally, when the…

Not Recommended Best in Iron

Overall: Disappointed. Background: I have owned two Rowenta irons over the years. Both are from the Pro Series and both were really excellent. However, this is not excellent. Cons: Feels cheap. Squeeze the handle and you'll feel the plastic seams touch. Even the pressure gauge for increasing/decreasing the amount of steam is cheap; It's also removable, probably because it needs to be replaced. It doesn't eject as much steam as other irons that cost a little more. The color is not the same as in
