i like how it turned out

i like the color of this dope. It matched my barn's wood paneling beautifully and gave it the weathered rustic look I was looking for.

Pros
  • dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • boring packaging

Works great on paint, wall cleaners and accessories

I have used this product on pine that I have polished with a hand lamp. I applied two coats of Aged Wood Accelerator and it came out great. Shocked at the end result.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Only available in white

Exactly what I expected

It was exactly as other reviews have shown, comes out a little transparent (which I like) as you can always do a 2nd coat. It looked natural and very valuable for what you get!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Exactly as advertised.

Works great on the freshly sawn side of reclaimed wood. Almost perfectly in color combined with 150 year old frames. Also did a great job adding brown to the gray wood. I just bought another pint for my next project.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Weight

Good stain Fleck

This is a good stain. Unfortunately it wasn't the color I wanted so I used chalk paint to get the color I wanted and the effect worked better because it gave depth to my project. It's a beautiful color in its own right, but for me it gave a great undertone.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Compatibility

It's really easy to work with him.

I had to paint an Ikea dresser. I was afraid to sand, I decided to just paint. It did the job...at least partially. The dresser is still lighter than we would like, but the veins are well colored and don't look as gross :). Transparent, not opaque at all, the texture of the wood is very pronounced. I think it will be good on bare wood.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Nothing but dye.

So it's better to take the brown stain straight away. The product states that it reacts to the tannins in the wood. Complete nonsense! Applied to poplar. which has almost no tannin but has turned a nice brown like any other brown stain or paint applied to a piece of red oak. Of course it was good, but then again, like any other brown stain or color.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Brief instructions
