Galaxy Tab 7 Plus: look elsewhere!

Looks like a nice keyboard but unfortunately the Galaxy 7 Plus base doesn't fit so I can't try it. The Galaxy Tab 7 Plus is here:[.]So I'll have to look elsewhere. The packaging worried me that it didn't have enough air bubbles or protection for shipping. No invoice or product documentation, instructions or the words "Only compatible with Galaxy Tab, not Tab 7 Plus" or anything like that. The keyboard is smaller than I was hoping for, every keyboard feels cramped and small except for the very…

Goodbye laptop. Well almost

I've had a Treo phone with an external keyboard for years, so when I got my Galaxy Tab I knew I was going to need a keyboard. Here's what I like, some of which may or may not be clear from the product description: * There is a power jack on the side of the keyboard: just plug in a standard Samsung power cable and your tablet will be on and charging. *Speaker Out A jack on the back of the keyboard ensures speaker cables are neatly tucked away instead of hanging down from above.*The "F" keys on…

Works great with Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0

Great keyboard for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0. When connected to the tablet, the keyboard works immediately. It also connects to a USB cable so you can charge your tablet from the keyboard. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for two things. 1) The functions of the 2-letter keys on my device are reversed. So if I try to type one letter, I get another and vice versa. And 2) You can't use the keyboard if your tablet has a case, so you'll need to remove the case if you have one. I tried calling…

Works great but make sure you buy the right one!

A critical warning about this device before rating. I have the original Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 (Sprint). I researched this carefully before ordering the keyboard. Samsung has several keyboards and there's some confusion about which keyboard goes with which device (see many 1* reviews below for examples of these), so be careful: do your research *before* you order or it'll be a huge one disappointing experience. ----- Well said: the keyboard arrived in the mail yesterday. How nice! Unfortunately it doesn't work with Tab 2 7.0

What I like about this keyboard is that it has a wired connection to Tabu, not Bluetooth. Especially on long flights or in remote areas, I don't want the Bluetooth to drain my tablet. However, when it arrived I immediately found that it was not compatible with the April 2012 version. I emailed the seller, got a refund email with no questions asked and the seller just asked me to keep the keyboard and said it would be more expensive for them to give me an RA to send. This item is brand new and I

Contact the manufacturer 1.

This keyboard/dock was purchased for my college aged granddaughter. It is not suitable for Tab2 7" WiFi only Galaxy Tab 2. Therefore I cannot rate this purchase. After contacting Samsung by phone I found out that the correct keyboard/dock for 7" WiFi tablet is only EKD- K11AWEBSTD is available on Samsung's website Price: $79.99 Samsung employees said there is confusion about the different keyboards/docks I understand that the Revain's keyboard/dock is compatible with 1st Gen 7" tablets…

An upgrade you'll never need

I love my Galaxy Tab. It has replaced my laptop for the vast majority of tasks. I only take my laptop with me for really hard work, like recording music or writing. Thanks to this keyboard, I can now cross the list of things I use my laptop for. The Samsung Galaxy Tab keyboard is a great addition to the Galaxy Tab and I use it a lot. This enables blogging in combination with the WordPress application. It also makes writing long emails and snippets like this review much easier. However, its…
