Very disappointed with the durability

The shoes are less than 2 months old and the sole is already coming off. Wouldn't buy again. Very disappointed with the durability of this shoe

Pros
  • I am very happy with the Saucony Men's Echelon 6 running shoes. They fit perfectly and repeated my well worn pair.
Cons
  • Maybe not the best option for trail running

The most comfortable shoes. Always.

I love these shoes! Lightweight, comfortable, with excellent support and a soft insole. I have very severe plantar fasciitis and this allows me to walk and exercise without pain.

Pros
  • I'm happy with the shoes, the width is very important to me, they don't disappoint.
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient stability for those with weaker ankles.

Good stable quality.

I like that the company doesn't reinvent the wheel every time you try to order the same shoe. This shoe seems to fit just like the previous model.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Negative impression

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very light, well-cushioned shoe, but stability issues.

The shoes are very light and very soft, I have no problems with the sole. While the upper suffers from its lightness, being very similar to a "stretch sock", there isn't much structure around the opening of the shoe. Because the material is so light and flexible, and the thick cushioning sole is relatively heavier, the heel slips out with almost every step, no matter how you lace the thing up. Like a flip flop. Normal casual shoes.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Protection

This shoe is smaller than the Echelon 7

Couldn't find a size that would fit my foot, 10 was too short and 10 1/2 was too big. In Saucony I usually wear 10, in Echelon 7 10 fits me fine. Very crazy low arch shoes, if anything it's good for me, really bad with the sizes.

Pros
  • It's ok!
Cons
  • For old

I have a painful callus on my right foot.

Bought Saucony looking for a shoe for heavy runners (170lbs and up) with an Air Running effect like I bought with a Saucony 2000 in the 80's. By the criteria of the time I found the Echelon 6. It makes walking easier with frumpy but this shoe is nothing like the one I bought on the way back. The reduced price of $75 is worth it, but I'll keep looking and maybe find these Saucony shoes that have the comfort I remember. I wish you success.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Worries me

Falling Apart - Running

Shoes begin to fall apart within a few weeks of purchase. Poor quality for a very expensive price. Don't hesitate to buy...

Pros
  • There's Something To It
Cons
  • Safety

Shows signs of wear

Soles will crack like mine as they age. The print on this pair looks like they've been worn for a while but obviously not as heavily worn as mine. This is the fourth pair of these shoes I've owned so I'm fairly familiar with the wearing pattern. I have foot and knee issues and this shoe provides great support and helps with pain when new.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Not sure

Best Show for Treating Flat Feet

I have been using Saucony for over 20 years and it is without a doubt the best shoe for my flat feet and I have met others who have said the same. Designed specifically for people with flat feet, the Echelon works great for me without my arch. I would recommend these shows to anyone

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Factor Set
