🌙 Shoyeido's Tranquility Incense, 40 Sticks - Enhance Serenity with Kyoto Moon Series Review

I've had the opportunity to try several Shoyeido incense scents and there are more on the list that I want to try. None of them were offensive in any way. Tranquility is a pleasant scent, slightly sweet, earthy and relaxing. My favorite so far has been Autumn Leaves, but Tranquility offers a nice twist from time to time.

My acupuncturist uses and sells Shoyeido Kyoto Moon incense sticks and burns them in the clinic. I was happy to find them at Revain for a decent price. I like Serenity and Abundance, both make my home calmer and more relaxing. The scent is definitely a personal preference, but I personally like Abundance a bit better.

They're a little shorter than what I was used to from the old days, but when they faded they'd done enough. I am very sensitive to synthetic fragrances and they suit me. As I can't find my old incense bowl I was happy to see that it comes with a small holder to use during the burn. I don't like it as much as my misplaced tray, but at least I didn't have to buy a new one while searching.

I'm an incense lover and it's hard to disappoint, but this one falls well short of minimum expectations. I've been driven by a lot of positive reviews here, but now that I have and use it, they don't make any sense to me. This incense smells absolutely NOTHING. Just a hint of burnt leaves, if any smell at all. It doesn't smell/taste at all even if you stick your nose in the box.
