🛀 Bathrobe Kimono Cotton Housecoat by SIORO: Luxurious Comfort for Relaxing in Style Review

Previous robe (from another manufacturer) shrunk after washing as recommended by manufacturer, as did this manufacturer. This one hasn't shrunk, so it's bigger than I wanted. I wanted a medium weight robe for medium temperatures. I can only wear this robe for 20 minutes before I get too hot. It's also physically demanding.

When I unpacked this bathrobe I was negatively impressed by the amount of thread and the light weight of the terrycloth fabric, but I decided to do the first wash myself. see if it's swollen. The fabric literally ripped during washing and drying. I had to vacuum the washer tub, dryer filter and even the laundry room floor which was full of loose threads and lint. And the robe looked worse after washing, not better. I can't imagine wearing it, it looks terrible now. return without wearing.

I bought this dressing gown for my husband as a Valentine's Day gift. He really likes this robe but I was surprised that the sleeves are too short. He wears men's clothing of medium height, medium height, 5ft 9in tall. His arms are hanging at his sides, all his wrists are open. The robe has a lot of fabric to overlap in the front. Terry cloth has a slight thickness. Better than a cheap cotton beach towel, but not thick. Husband still thinks it's warm. I like that it dries faster than thick…

There really isn't anything wrong with this robe, but I was expecting it to be a little softer and more luxurious. The material is a bit rough, rough. And hoped for more. Again, there is nothing wrong with that. I will not return it but my expectations were a little different. Also very happy to have received Wednesday. I have a small figure and I usually buy clothes in a small size, but the medium size fits me.
