Keep your drains clean!

When we bought our house I noticed that the drain in the basement didn't have a cover. It didn't bother me until we moved our children's playroom to the basement and the toys somehow ended up in the sewer. It was an easy decision, just look at the dimensions. The thing is solid!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Good but not great

Perfect to replace your old broken

So beautiful and new it looks completely out of place. The owner before me got 45 years of the original and left it to me in three parts. This one was perfect but so new and clean it sticks out like a thumb. Over time this should start to merge. Hope it lasts that long. If I don't update this, it still does its job.

Pros
  • . Beautiful
Cons
  • Something different

Sturdy construction in kitchen and bathroom fixtures

I was very surprised and impressed with this product. It arrived so quickly. We had a bucket, yes, a bucket, upside down on the drain in the basement so the overflow hose from the water softener wouldn't fly out. When you went down the stairs it didn't look very attractive! This drain cap not only keeps the hose in place, it doesn't squeeze it either. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • cord is shorter than other options

Nice and clean look. Replaces the old rusty eyesore!

I was thinking about taking a wire wheel, sandblasting the old one and then painting it when I found this for a whopping $12. Fits perfectly! The description says it has epoxy on it but it's quite thin when it's there so we went ahead and applied 3 coats of anti-corrosion paint. Looking good now! $12 well spent. At the very least, this aging car would look better and still have to deal with the recurring rust.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some bugs

Nice replacement drain cap

I bought this to cover a floor drain in my basement where the humidifier and HVAC drain is. Appearance was the goal so unfortunately I was unhappy with the sticker the manufacturer put on it. It wasn't easy on my own, but with the help of mineral oil I was able to remove it and the sticky residue. At 6 1/2 inches, it fits nicely in a hole that is 6 3/4 to 7 inches. It's no thicker than 1/4 inch so after I loosened the screws holding the stock cover in place it was flush with the gutter lip…

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Factor Set

Thing is GREAT! (See what I did there?)

I have a floor drain in my 54 year old garage. He fell apart. I bought this item and it is great. VERY heavy, VERY well made, fits perfectly on my floor drain flange and now it just sits there. Waiting. Waiting. Sheet? Get out with your sheet. You won't go down the drain! tennis ball? Dog! Do nothing! A big cat? Oh well. No goo doo. If you've always been looking for something to fulfill your hopes and dreams of a floor drain cover, then this is for you. Buy it. Currently. Even if you don't have

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • A small change
