cuz it was perfect she is 7/71/2 and they fit perfectly. They are not intended for hard everyday dancing, but if you need them for a costume or for example a musical or a play, they are very important! My child is very picky about his dance shoes and they survived their 3 week summer stage. I recommend to musical theater kids who need a show.

A bit big but they fit. Order normal size. No stretch marks for several days. As a gymnast I prefer shoes with a stable foot and they work. It would be ideal for coaching. I can feel where my feet are, feel the ground and still have leg protection. I only wear them around the house, they are lighter than sneakers and safer than flip flops. It didn't sit much in the wash, just enough for the final shrinkage. Holds up great. I love these shoes!

Based on other reviews I went for a size 6 which is my usual women's size. When the package arrived it was marked "39", which is European size. My EU size is 36 so I can only assume the size listed was US for men. When I clicked on my order the size listed was 6/39 so at first I blamed myself for being too hasty but then went back to the listing and there was no European size listed anywhere.
