Perfect for teaching kids!

They are great for teaching young children, older children or anyone else about electricity, energy, sensors, solar energy and how cameras work. Well, a book that explains everything doesn't really put it in a way that the reader can easily understand. It's not too difficult, but did you really get what was going on? I had to rephrase the lessons. But the book is simple enough for an adult to use. There are some short projects for kids related to this. I am a Montessori teacher. It is perfect…

My students just LOVE them! Directions are simple enough for my .

I use a Snap Circuits Jr SC-100 in K-6 technology class at a public school. My students just LOVE them! The instructions are easy enough for my first graders to follow after a short demonstration, and the projects vary in difficulty to keep even sixth graders interested. There are also blueprints for adding speakers, playing Happy…

Rated as a gift for a 4 year old

First off, yes I know this set is suitable for ages 8-108. However, my 4 year old son is obsessed with electronics and keeps trying to play with my Arduino. It seemed like the safer option so I bought it for her and will consider it that way if you have a similarly ambitious preschooler who is no longer happy with Code-a-pillar. Pros: * Physical shape - perfect for small hands. Check out my photo of a regular sized coffee cup resistor. Images can be a bit "sticky" which is sometimes an issue…
