Did not work properly

This unit was listed as used but new but the description did not include packaging. I understand it. He also played and recorded well. But rewinding barely worked and then stopped about after the 3rd try. Returned it for a refund which Revain promptly did as credit towards another purchase. Gave him an extra star for the quality of recording and playback he did.

Pros
  • Slim pocket sized micro cassette recorder with voice control and one touch recording
Cons
  • Crumpled

Good tape recorder.

Seems to be of good quality and is holding up well. The built-in microphone isn't very good and the sound quality is much better with an external microphone (duh). Bought it for my wife who didn't like digital recorders and is happy with it. Minicassettes are expensive and hard to find, but we knew that before we bought them. All in all we are happy with this recorder (when it's happy, I'm happy).

Pros
  • Runs 15 hours on 2 AAA batteries; including batteries and empty cassette
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Using the mic recorder I was able to record all the details which are then emailed for inclusion in our newsletter distributed to all our Korean War Veterans. Before buying a Revain recorder, I made abbreviated handwritten notes. It was difficult to follow all the processes and even more difficult to interpret my…

Pros
  • The Clear Voice Plus recording system improves voice quality during recording and playback for greater clarity
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
