Assembly was excellent and very easy. I really liked the design and features of the product. However, the shelves are held in place by "O-rings," strong rubber bands that don't move and keep the shelves in place. They are VERY easy to stretch. If you don't like the arrangement of the shelves when you first set them up? Lucky, as a drowned man. As you move them, the o-rings stretch and the shelf slides straight out. so the instructions are crap. Thought it would be easy to put together. And it seemed to be, except I had to disassemble it and repeat the wheel alignment about 4 times. I didn't need a pole, I just extended the push bar at the top. And then I had to readjust the shelves because they were all too low because of the latch handle, so I put one on top.
