The starter motor was easy to fit, "air box" was painful to pull out and put back. Why pay $250 for a Honda starter when it works and is sooooo much cheaper.

Satisfied so far. Used in 2012 Foreman 500. Easy to install once you get to the starter. Works as it should. Although I've started it 10 times so far, an OE died at 275 miles and 110 hours, can you imagine? It has a good chance of surpassing the original

Starter motor fits perfectly and works great. It arrived a day earlier than expected. Being able to turn the plastic cover that surrounds the positive terminal the same direction as your old starter motor will save you some time rewiring to line it up. The wire doesn't have much slack to work with.

Item arrived a day early (pleasant surprise). The starter was identical to the original. All I had to do was loosen the positive battery connector to rotate it to the same orientation as the original. There is a small notch that needs to be aligned to allow the positive battery cable to sit flat. I've read other reviews that say this needs to be done and it's important to do this prior to installation as the cable on my Honda doesn't have enough slack to work without aligning. As long as the…
