Steelcase Series 2 Office Chair - Licorice: Sleek Design and Superior Comfort Review

Just received Steelcase Series 2 office chair, 3D Microknit Licorice/Cogent Connect Licorice Chair.1. The delivery was excellent, 2. Easy to assemble, 3. The packaging was poor - I also had a dent on my arm, 4. Worst of all the seat is too short - the back of my leg is starting to hurt and 5. It comes back.

I cannot praise this chair enough. Super high quality, very easy assembly (see video) and very comfortable. Don't be fooled by some of the cheaper options advertised on Revain. Many of these are of very poor quality and not a good option for someone who uses the chair in WFH mode all day. Can only recommend Steelcase!

Very disappointed with $500 chair. Things a hard seat, not comfortable at all. Tried to return the chair, couldn't disassemble the chair, even with factory support. Your instructions and videos make it easy to remove the backing. I'm an engineer and mechanically inclined and once the back is assembled it won't come off. So now I have an expensive "guest" chair in my office.

I don't understand how anyone could sit and enjoy this chair for more than 2 minutes. The part of the seat itself slopes downward, forcing you to slowly slide out of your chair and forcing you to get up and change position every few minutes. I've sat in countless office chairs over the years, most of which were probably cheap $70 Staples chairs, but never in my life have I felt so uncomfortable. I packed it for return within 45 minutes.

The lumbar support portion of the chair did not appear. I called the manufacturer and they said I should file a claim through Revain. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this. I just want them to send me a piece. I don't want to send this huge chair back and buy another one. Especially if it doesn't have lumbar support, but I have no way of knowing if it will or not. Maybe I'll find someone if I write a review.
