Works well, easy to use

The color doesn't match exactly, so it doesn't matter if you do a light spot or a dark spot. It may be better to buy 2 shades that match where the stain is.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expandable

Easy to apply travertine repair

Just add powder and some water. Stir until you get the right consistency, then apply and wait for it to dry. Wipe with a damp sponge and the repair is complete. Be sure to buy both light and dark colored products so you can mix them together to get the right shade for your travertine floor.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • There are bugs

Best for house cleaning

This material is available as a colored powder that mixes easily with water. It does NOT cure in 10-15 minutes as advertised, but its working time is closer to 45 minutes. This is good for patching pinholes, but be prepared to double-treat any stains larger than a dime due to shrinkage. Two layers took care of the quarter-sized holes.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Fills well, but does not withstand wiping

Light color very white. I mixed some brown grout from another project to get the right color. I was very pleased that it sets quite a bit - when it's dried if you try to rub it it doesn't fall apart and doesn't rub off easily. However, if it gets wet, for example when washing the floor, it can easily rub off.

Pros
  • Household cleaning
Cons
  • No automatic

Easy to mix and use! Fits well.

I asked my husband to fix the hole for a month. It didn't and it got bigger so I ordered it and made it myself. It was easy to blend, easy to patch and my hole was deeper and wider than they recommended. The hardest part was keeping kids and pets from stepping on it while it dries. From start to finish It took 7 minutes to mix and apply. And it fits so well my husband didn't even notice I fixed it!

Easy to blend, fills holes smoothly, great product!

We have light beige/cream colored travertine tiles with small holes. Traverfill Light is the perfect color for light travertine. We love this because we can mix a very small amount (maybe a tablespoon with some water) and then fill lots of little holes. Filling in holes and then smoothing and wiping is tedious work, so it's nice to be able to do it a little at a time. After the holes were filled, our floor looked wonderful, even small holes didn't stand out - just the shiny surface of the…

  • Ugly packaging
