2 months best broke in electric blankets

Does the sunbeam put a timer on all their electric blankets to make sure they break early so you have to buy a new one damn it seems because everyone does Sunbeam is an electric blanket that I tore up in a year. I don't wash them, I don't take them off, I just turn them on, use them until they break, then look for a company other than Sunbeam, which is without a doubt the worst American company I know!

Not recommended for electric blankets

If you are considering a Sunbeam electric blanket I would recommend the Sunbeam Velvet Plush Electric Blanket over this model. This blanket has a fabric that is not very soft and you can feel the heating elements. With the Velvet Plush model, the fabric is very, very soft and you won't feel the heating elements. If all models are charged despite the 5 year guarantee, Sunbeam will charge a shipping fee to their warehouse and may not be able to repair the duvet or send you a duvet in a different…

A smoking piece of junk, if there ever was.

Stay away. This Sunbeam blanket's ability to keep warm didn't last even a year and after very few uses. Of course they have a "LIMITED 5 YEAR WARRANTY" but that requires you to send it to a repair center at YOUR COST for a couple of weeks to see if they can fix it, and then it takes a couple of weeks to send it back for repair. Too bad I just bought it in a big store. Then I could take it back, and they would use their market power to push this fluttering piece of junk where the sun's rays…

:( Really disappointed

I'm always cold so I was very excited when this duvet finally arrived. It worked PERFECTLY at first. Laid the duvet down one way. The settings (Low, 1, 2 etc up to 10) made a noticeable difference in warmth and matched the amount of heat produced very well.I like everything on the hot side so I was pleasantly surprised when 7 was the highest I've ever needed to get around feeling cozy and happy. The duvet also warmed up very quickly which was extremely impressive. I really loved it! I've had…

You will probably waste your time and/or burn down your house.

The duvet started to fail in the first 30 days, stopped working on the 40th day. Do not buy this blanket. It's absolute crap, and when it fails, Sunbeam wants nothing more than to wear you down into giving up and moving on. If you notice any signs of failure, return it immediately. Once your Revain return window is closed, Sunbeam Support will make the repair process as painful as possible. For example, you may have to pay for return shipping and then wait up to three weeks for diagnosis and…

I like everything on the hot side, so I was pleasantly surprised when 7 was the highest, which always made me feel snuggly and happy. The duvet also warmed up very quickly which was extremely
