Stronger than the bumper it was bolted to!

Works great. Just make sure your bumper can handle the extra weight. Mine started spinning after a bike rack was placed on it. I'm sure he would have held onto the bike rack when the bumper came down the freeway. Glad I caught it in time. ALWAYS do a quick inspection of your rig when refueling!

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Good quality and finish

I gave this bumper adapter five stars although I have yet to fit it to the rear bumper of my caravan. The reason for the five stars is the thickness and apparent quality of the material used, as well as the quality of the welds. I'm sure this will work great for holding my two light bikes on the trailer rear bumper.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not sure

Do Not Buy: Bodywork

Zero stars if Revain will allow it. Not only was the bolt hole in the wrong place to mount a standard hitch (the hitch can't go far enough to align the holes), but the holes themselves weren't big enough for a standard pin to fit through. . The absolute worst production control I've ever seen - who's stopping us from doing such simple things?

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some imperfections

So far, so good. best in body and finish

hard wearing. very durable. We will definitely build it. Use it to attach a bike rack to the back of your RV. Unfortunately the bike rack stem is bent so the holes for the hitch pins don't line up so I have to drill new holes in the bike rack stem. The mounting steel is 2-3 times thicker than the rack tube. Once I redo the holes I'm sure this will do what I need. All is well.

Pros
  • best in niche
Cons
  • minor issues

Well made but the coupling pin needs to be drilled to fit

Robust, well made. But the standard 5/8 inch clutch pin will not fit without drilling or grinding. I'm guessing they drill a 5/8" hole and then paint (powder coat?). Luckily I had that drill - most drills do, but the sets aren't that big. I suppose you could turn it in instead. It was a pain because I only found out after I had already installed it and access to the holes was difficult. One star off for stupidity.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Easy to mount to bumpers

Easily mounts to my RV bumper and holds our 3 bike bike rack perfectly. I bought this unit because it has a bolt that tightens against whatever you hook and keeps it from rattling around in the receiver. This is important to prevent what you are wearing from twisting and bouncing around, which could end up giving you a bad day. that it is designed to carry weight. There aren't many.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Zero

Works great, easy to install and use. Fits Jayco Eagle 314BH bumper

The Thule bike rack hitch is smaller than the Swagman RV hitch so I needed this adapter and the 1.5" adapter. Easy to use, has everything you need, works great. My old hitch broke on a recent van ride with the bikes so I bought another hitch (swagman) and a 1.5" adapter/filler and both worked great for the rest of the trip and us brought home. We put three adult mountain bikes in the back of our van. .heavy.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077D25HQL?ref=cm_sw_em_r_rw_mw_ffPHy8PwiBr5C

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not all will fit

It will not fit our 2 " bike rack. Stuck in the center of the hitch.

I ordered this for my RV bumper to fit a 2" bike rack. Installation is very easy, but when it comes to installation it was very tight our trunk shaft doesn't go all the way in we have to hammer it in. I have no choice but to use it as we are going camping that day. After the trip I had to re- use a hammer to pry the bike rack off. I ordered a 2" hole and that was what it says in the description but it's super tight after an inch. I like the build quality. I will be asking for a replacement, I…

Great solution for transporting bikes on the back of a camper van!

I bought this so we can use our bike rack with receiver on the back of our expandable hybrid motorhome. The bumper was a 4" square and it worked great. I had to mount it on the underside of the bumper as there wasn't enough clearance on the top. I also had to move the spare wheel carrier down on one end. I use an extended hitch and a bike mount so I can extend the trunk beyond the spare tire I did a great job I will keep an eye on the welds for the bumper It seems very sturdy but I have read…

  • Easy to use
