Master Sudoku Challenges with ThinkFun Color Cube Sudoku Winning! Review

We have added this to our school's new MakerSpace. We needed courses that encouraged the development of critical thinking and logical skills. This is a great game for that and I love that all ages can enjoy it.

15th anniversary gift 2 days ago. So far she has found 6 solutions and the number keeps growing. Your other gifts are still in the boxes. The best part is that this is NOT a video game!

I bought this for my 9 year old nephew. He was immediately angry. I tried it too (I love the hardest sudokus), but it was very hard for me and I never understood it. Maybe it will get easier with time but I don't think it should be recommended for kids.

This unique puzzle cannot be solved by trying lots of random moves: it requires some thought. It took me over an hour to find a few clues that ultimately helped me resolve this issue. Maybe my eight-year-old will solve it faster: she's happy that we have a new colorful game in our house. It seems durable enough to withstand her little brother's potential attempts to knock it apart.

Love it and it's a great puzzle! Good solid parts. It's a lot harder than I thought though. It was difficult even for me. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think the age range might be wrong. My 9 year old son who this was designed for finds it too hard and would rather give up and I find it too hard for his level - and he's usually good at color puzzles like Rubik's Cube and the like. When I bought this puzzle I thought it would be like any other logic puzzle I've bought for my kids and it would have a booklet with increasing levels of difficulty for you to place some and then figure out how to bring the rest together. But no, it's like a blank sudoku sheet in 3D. Very cool when your mind works that well, but not what I expected.
