So I ordered these for my 15 month old who is approaching a size 6. I received them and they are quite large. I gave 5 stars anyway because they are still very well made and will be perfect for her when she is 6 years old and I remember when my boy was little I had to downsize him but she is growing so fast that I didn't want to do it for you. So I would say if you, the child, stagger in sizes and are still in a smaller size, order a size down first.
