This is useless. There is a set screw at the bottom, this is normal. The problem is that nothing can be hung on the wall bracket at the top. It will just fall off the wall. I might put a dent in it, but that doesn't require any modification. It also seems pretty cheap.

These hooks are in my bathroom and in my closets. They are cool. I even bought them for my son. They go with large bath towels, robes, jeans, sweaters, sweatshirts, jackets, etc. I wanted something modern and understated and this was just the ticket. I highly recommend them.

I bought these for my son's bathroom because it looks like the towel never made it onto the towel rail. The hooks are much better and the towels can now be hung up. And the location of the double holes was exactly the same as where the towel rail was attached, so I didn't even have to drill holes or set anchors. Looks good too.

Hooks have multiple mounting screw holes for a secure and tight fit. The front, which attaches to the wall, is slightly larger, allowing it to accommodate the traditional towel rails covers tear holes. The flat aesthetic makes a small bathroom appear larger. My youngest child can easily drape a towel over the hook and it still looks neat and prepared as opposed to sloppy work on a traditional towel rail.

I don't consider myself a handyman. In fact, this is the first time I've tried to do something like this myself. How difficult is it to attach a towel hook? I drilled the holes easily but as soon as I tried to put the anchors in the wall I had problems. The ones in the package were completely useless! The first went well.
