🌍 Travelon Self-Inflating Neck and Back Pillow: Ultimate Comfort for Travel, Black, One Size Review

I use a rolled up towel for back support while driving (I know - curmudgeon!) so I decided to try it myself - inflating BACK PILLOW ( note all capital letters) both driving and flying 5 stars for the back brace - but zero stars for the neck brace on the plane Just the wrong shape.

BEST travel pillow! This pillow is very comfortable and versatile. It sits well behind the neck as well as in the lower back. And the fact that it's so easy to deflate makes it ideal for keeping in a backpack or briefcase. U-shaped neck pillows no longer fall out of luggage. I bought 2 more for friends.

I bought one of these last year and it only lasted a few months. I recently bought another one and now after two months it is already leaking. Will not stay inflated. The edge seam is unnecessary. Works well and compressed takes up very little space. The only problem is that the foam inside seems to have gone bad after a few uses and doesn't automatically fill up like it did when new. It doesn't matter as it only takes a breath to blow it up and it's a great deal for the price. Using it while traveling has definitely reduced my neck pain and allowed me to sleep much more comfortably while traveling.

I bought this to use in my car and on trains as it fits snugly in the bucket seat recess to lift my butt out of the recess. Before the leaks, I liked that the self-inflating foam added structure while you could still adjust the amount of inflation to your liking and still compress very little once all the air was removed (assuming you used a self-inflating camping pillow out same stuff). I have just spent a few hours flying and it has helped me a lot. I love the ease of self-inflation and it's super easy to roll up and store when you're done. Fits in my carrier due to the tight curls. Has a nice soft side to protect against skin. Both sides are easy to clean with a cloth.
