This is not the cheapest brush you will find but having used it I consider it very valuable. The quality of this brush is really fantastic. I have been a wet razor for many years and have a modest collection of brushes. Some of the brushes I own are more than twice the price of this one and I have to say they are definitely up to date in many ways. The handle is unconventional, but still feels very comfortable in the hand. The bristles themselves are well textured, meaning you can use them to…

Poor Billy the Bald Bavarian Badger

I've used shaving brushes all my life. In the spring he sheds his skin like a Siberian husky. I "sent back" the first one because the bristles came out so freely. It took several letters to send back without paying the freight. The second was just as bad. I've never had this problem with other brushes. Great brush - love the handle. I hate the stand

My first impression of this brush was that it foams! I only have about 5 shaves now so I know there will be more breaks and the ends will always be softer. I took the risk of buying a brush that I haven't read much about, but so far I'm happy with my choice. This brush has a lot of bone and is very dense. I like how the grip of the ball feels in my hand, I can hold it really well. It's not slippery and I had no problem slipping (I shave in the shower). I have not used the stand that comes with…

Huge brush that works great

I've used this brush a few times and can't say enough about how great it is. In the photo, the brush handle looks huge. Nevertheless, it fits perfectly in my hand. This is a large brush, very dense. The 25 mm badger coat holds enormous amounts of water and produces incredibly good foam. I have used it in two different soaps: Art of Shaving Lavender Soap and Cella, the first is a hard soap and the second is a soft soap. It worked great in both soaps. I've lathered both the bowl and face with a…
