Description of 🌙 VTech Baby Musical Dream Light Projector: Enhance Bedtime Experience with Soothing Lights and Melodies

The Musical Dreams Light Projector is an advanced crib light that projects moving images onto the ceiling. A sound sensor detects your baby’s cry and responds by playing calming melodies and sounds to lull your baby back to sleep. Cute sleeping bear soothes little ones by swinging back and forth. Choose between three soothing modes including nature sounds, soothing melodies and songs. Parental controls adjust the light, movement of the projected image, volume and timer.

I like it when it works

My 7.5 month old son loves it --- I just want it to work properly. The small projected image and the options available on it are great. Unfortunately, I never know if the projected image will decide to rotate or not on any given night. It stopped on the night of the 3rd. It was still projecting an image. just didn't move. Sometimes a good slap works and sometimes it doesn't. The straps are an absolute pain to put on. Too short for a modern cot. The batteries were already dead and one had to be…

Excellent projector/sound system

Works great. I bought this for my 16 month old daughter who wakes up a lot during the night. You can set it on a timer (5, 10 or 15 minutes) and it will turn on again if the baby cries for more than 4 seconds. It is also very easy for them to turn on by pressing any button. She loves it. The straps provided were too short so I made my own with velcro. And the first batch of batteries ran out quickly, but I set the timer for 5 minutes and haven't had to change the batteries yet (it's been about…

Only for very thin cribs, but a great projector!

It didn't fit my crib from the start. The straps are only long enough if you have very thin splints. Luckily I was able to use straps from my old phone and attach it. Apart from the fact that it doesn't fit, I like this projector. It has nature sounds, musical lullabies, and even an option for him to sing lullabies. The projection shows teddy bears and penguins sitting on the stars, which is very cute and understandable. My favorite feature is voice activation. If your baby cries for more than…

I love it but it uses a lot of batteries!

Love love love this product! My son uses it every night to fall asleep. My favorite feature is that it turns itself back on when he fidgets or fidgets in his bed. I only gave 3 stars because it uses so many batteries! This month alone we have 16 batteries in it. There is no remote control, but it reacts to the child when they wake up. My son quickly found that he could turn it on by pressing the penguin. The volume is adjustable so you can turn it down or up. Another complaint is the part to…

Great tool! fits sleep pacifier

This projector saved my sister's life. My niece is almost four months old now but we have had the projector since she was about two months old. We were helped catch a fish, but when she died we needed something new and fast! After reading the reviews this one looked like a winner and the penguin on it helped with the decision as my sister loves penguins :P Attaching to the crib was a little confusing at first as the instructions were a bit difficult to follow. If we look closely at the picture,

Works great but has some quirks

For starters I think it's worth buying. My 2 1/2 month old daughter loves it. However, there are a few things to consider. 1) It eats the battery like crazy! Buy a large pack of AA when you buy this. 2) A lot of people complain that music "jumps like a CD", but that's what happens when the battery dies. That doesn't mean it's broken, it means you need to replace the batteries. 3) You can change the lighting functions on the device to save battery power. I changed it so that the light only…

Cons
  • Sad device

It has everything: a timer that can be set to 5, 10 or 15 minutes, a sensor that lets it play again if baby cries or makes a loud noise, and a light for the ceiling and one on the front, which can be switched together, individually or turned off. I've found the batteries last a lot longer if you only use one of the lights with the music or don't use them at all. Depending on how my granddaughter is, depends on whether I use light or not. She falls asleep immediately, and when she wakes up, she…

At first it was great, then it started breaking

It was so helpful for the first few months. It hung on the edge of the crib and put my baby to sleep when he woke up in the middle of the night. The volume is adjustable, there are multiple lighting options in case one is too bright or too dim, and the music is soothing. THEN WHAT. The fact that it stays on to listen to your baby to help them get back to sleep means that new batteries, 4 AA, are required every two weeks. If your crib has a thicker top panel, the straps will not fit. And the…
