Even with the minimum setting, the alarm works right away. At this level of electronics production, quality can be random. One is probably better or worse than the other.

Does the job, but even at the lowest settings it's too sensitive and gives false positives. Cheap enough that I can hack it and figure out how to add my own sensor.

Easy to install. Pretty loud, but the sensitivity setting doesn't work. I've tried adjusting the sensitivity setting per the instructions in the manual and that doesn't seem to do anything so this is the simple on-off I've seen but it works and is well worth the money.

Gotta shake the crap out of that bracket under the seat next to the battery. Sensitivity cannot be adjusted with the two button remote control. I've tried all key combinations. We keep records. All station wagons. Nothing. And the sound is not where 100 decibels. Buy another block. You will be disappointed.

Skip this as the alarm is useless. This alarm clock cannot adjust the sensitivity, which makes the alarm clock completely unusable. If you put it on the bike, no matter how hard you shake the bike and don't even bounce it off the center stand, I won't work. I think you have to be off-road for it to start beeping. Checked with seller and confirmed there is no sensitivity adjustment as stated in the manual. Get another vibration and I'll return this one, sorry looks good.

This thing is LOUD. I love it. Very easy to install and motion detection is perfect. (I have a model that you cannot customize). What I like best about it is that if it goes off for a few seconds it will stop until someone touches the bike again. It won't turn off and drain the battery until you turn it off with the remote.
