Best in sunglasses and eyewear accessories get broken

These sunglasses are cheap. I received them out of the box with 2 scratches on the right lenses. I thought it might be a stain so I tried cleaning them and the lenses popped out. There's also an "Xloop HD+" logo on the left lenses that catches my eye, which is a little distracting. Update 8/17/19, after using these sunglasses lightly, mainly while driving, broke my left arm. I am 53 years old and have taken care of these sunglasses by always keeping them in the sunglass compartment of my car…

  • Elegant design

  • Nothing included

Unsuitable for driving and just about anything else

As a pilot I spend a lot of time looking for good sunglasses. I have owned (and still own) many of the best and most recognizable brands. I've come to the conclusion that you really don't need to spend a fortune to get good optics. Well. The reviews seemed promising and the specs sounded impressive for the price. The style isn't too flashy either. In real life they look exactly as described which is nice but the optical quality is frankly disgusting in my opinion. I would even say that they are

Surprisingly good for driving, I've bought two more again

I originally bought a pair of Rite Aid HD Driving Aviators (As Seen On TV brand) many years ago. It had a metal frame and a real glass lens. I really liked the brownish-yellowish color of the lens. I've been using it for driving for many years. They ended up being so scratched that I had to buy new ones. I bought this set of 2 in 2017. I wore brown almost every day when I was riding for almost two years. A friend recently commented how he liked the design, so I got him a pair of black glasses…

Very good product. I work in an aerospace industry that requires ANSI certified safety equipment. that this product meets the latest standard. They also feature impact/toughness (denoted by a "+” on new ANSI certified goggles); Don't be fooled by the fact that this means they are indestructible. They fell off my head several times and landed on the floor: so far the only result is that a lens popped out. It can look and sound bad on contact; but very easy to put the lens back in and no visible…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I loved my dark xloops. But I love this one more.

Mine came with a black case, not the US flag as shown in the picture. 1 star deduction for the blurry picture. Otherwise I like the glasses. Yes, the lenses fly out when you rotate the frame. But usually they come back with no problems. I like graduated tones: darker on top (where the sun is) and lighter on the bottom. I find myself unconsciously tilting my head down a few degrees to see past the top half while driving and raising my head to read. Like bifocals, only tinted. I haven't tried it…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I will buy again! good for accessories

May 2020: These glasses have been well used for the last year and a half and finally all broken in the nose. Buy another set ASAP! 1 Year Update: Yes, they lasted a year! They went to the beach, to the park, biked, boated, you name it! The lenses I wear most often change color but still protect my sensitive eyes! I like that they are light and rounded with no bottom edge. They close my eyes from all sides and at the same time don't look huge to me! My husband loves them too, he wears them…

Pros
  • As everything before
Cons
  • Nothing

Nice to wear but not for long.

Well I have to say I really liked them as long as they lasted. I ordered them in January and now six months later, in July. Both pairs ruptured within the last ten days, about a week apart. In both cases the left stem broke when I removed them. Before that they were great. I really appreciated the graduated shading: the top of the lenses was darker and protected from the sun. However, the lower part was more subtly darkened and I could wear them indoors. This was helpful because a) I go indoors

Frames break easily

I like the clarity and color of the lenses. But now I had 4 pairs and 3 broke - 2 on the temple and one on the frame above the lens. After the first one broke I ordered a second set as I love the clarity and color as advertised. I thought it was a one time break but wanted an extra one just in case. Well it has been confirmed; the second pair broke shortly after I had the second set. Now the third is broken. The frame has a severe weak point at the temple where it transitions into size. Broken…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Long delivery time
