My pleco loves it!: fish and aquatic animals

My 6 inch plecos eat it up in 24 hours. Add a block every few weeks to keep it healthy. Orange parrotfish also like to nibble.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • quality

Won't work in my aquarium

My cichlids are constantly chewing on the block and preventing Pleco access most of the time. At night he doesn't seem to care.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Available in white only

Spoil the fish during your vacation.

I use them as I don't go to class in the summer. I will check my tank. These pills seem to be doing a great job. My Pleco looks healthy. I apply it every 2-3 weeks.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Negative gift

Feed your Pleco! for fish and aquatic life

Don't let your Pleco go hungry on vacation. Just drop one of these in the tank and you're good to go for at least a week. Our Pleco is 3 years old and about 30 cm long. He survived all of our vacations with it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • A little maintainability

My Pleco loves it!

It took my Pleco about a day to start snacking on it. My Pleco did such a great job cleaning my tank that it ran out of algae so I had to feed it. I've tried other seaweed waffles before and they made a huge mess. It's great - just drop and go. Love it !

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Helped our fat catfish after tank cleaning

I was worried our new catfish wouldn't pick up enough algae after the monthly tank cleaning so bought these. He likes it very much in the week after the cleaning when he lacks aquarium algae. It just rises and stays there for a while. I buy more because they don't cloud the tank (as other competing algae products complain) and our Pleco loves them!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Good mostly but...

I want to leave a positive review, but. :(

Unfortunately my catfish (I have 5 different types of L) as well as my whiptails, measles, synodontis and all my other bottom feeders refuse to touch these things. This may be because I have them all treat them to freshly blanched veggies and live food for a day or two. Once added, however, they remain completely untouched for several days. I've tried leaving them whole as well as breaking them up, but I've never eaten fish. Even try them. Huge disappointment as I bought these 5 packs, spent 2…

Pros
  • 1 year probationary period
Cons
  • Hard to say

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • The list will be long.

It may be because I treat them to freshly blanched veggies and live food every day or two. However, once added, they remain fully intact for several days.I've tried leaving them whole and breaking them up, but I've never had the fish even taste them Huge disappointment since I bought the 5 pack, spent 2 and now have 3 which are useless

Pros
  • Temporary feed stop for sucker catfish.
Cons
  • Minor problems

GREAT PLECO VACATION FOOD

I have purchased these Pleco banquet units a number of times and they have always worked great. I have an adult Pleco that I feed seaweed waffles every night. When I go on vacation for a week I put a block in the tank before heading to the airport and he just loves it. Immediately he comes out of his hiding place and lies down directly on him. When I'm gone for two weeks, I just ask a friend to come over and throw another block in the tank next week. My Pleco always does well with this product…

Pros
  • Pack of 5 Zoo Med Laboratories Pleco Banquet Blocks.
Cons
  • boring packaging
