As a hesitant buyer, I wasn't sure about purchasing this digital voice recorder. However, after giving it a try, I was pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. I put the batteries in as described and everything worked except for one problem: it has to be in be a very quiet room and then put it to my ear to maybe hear something and if it's in my ear like in headphones then the picture is not visible the picture is good for something like that not very good but what is what you would expect at this price I was thinking of sending it back but until I pay the postage and all the hassle I don't know if it's worth it And will the new one be better then so I

I was hoping to use this to create a video postcard, but the camera picks up horizontal lines. The only way to make horizontal lines less noticeable is to be in a very bright place, near a bright lamp, or in direct sunlight. The microphone also picks up rather weakly, you have to speak loudly.
