I should have bought this earlier.

I had a leak at the top of my meter which I was only able to stop with lots of pipe thread sealant and tightening the metal cap hard. I replaced the inner plastic cap and the leak stopped without the need for "pipe lube" and just finger tightening the metal cap. Once installed I can remove the metal cap and the water still won't leak, that's how tight the seal is with this new inner plastic cap!

Pros
  • Packing: In bags
Cons
  • There are new competitors

after replacing the old black membrane in our Zurn WS1.

After replacing the old black diaphragm in our Zurn WS1, the old tired cap must have cracked when I tightened the chrome cap over the top. I had a small leak when I flushed the toilet, that solved the problem. It is important to note that when tightening, you should hand tighten the chrome cap as much as possible, then use a wrench to tighten slightly. Overtightening can break the plastic cover.

Pros
  • Weight: 0.05 lbs
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Good product. Buy several if you have more than one urinal.

It seems odd to give 5 stars in the like category for a urinal membrane cover. "I love urinal lids" I couldn't say out loud so quickly. But this is a great product. I bought a couple of these to replace one that had a hairline crack and was causing constant running. I made sure to buy extra ones as we have 8 of these in our complex and if one breaks the others will most likely break soon enough. This became tried and true advice as another broke a few months later. Installation is very easy…

Pros
  • Construction: plastic
Cons
  • boring packaging
