Because it's built on blockchain you have full ownership of your cards, the packs and even the ingame currency and since it's built on Steem you don't have to pay for transactions, which are completed almost instantly. The quest, battle and tournament system allows you to earn cards and Dark Energy Crystals (ingame currency) which can either be used to upgrade your deck or be sold for other cryptocurrencies or fiat currencies.
