Review on Splinterlands by Alex .

Probably the best blockchain based game

I am definitely not a TCG player, but I love Splinterlands! Because it's built on blockchain you have full ownership of your cards, the packs and even the ingame currency and since it's built on Steem you don't have to pay for transactions, which are completed almost instantly.

The quest, battle and tournament system allows you to earn cards and Dark Energy Crystals (ingame currency) which can either be used to upgrade your deck or be sold for other cryptocurrencies or fiat currencies.
ο»Ώ
The game is quick and there is a mobile version available - it's perfect to be played when you have time throughout the day.

Aside from the game itself, there's huge infrastructure built around it. There is a dedicated blogging platfrom with it's own token (Splintertalk.io), you have many alternative markets and pack resellers (Peakmonsters, Monstermarket). Renting is a pretty big market and allows you to make a passive income with your cards, mainly taking place on peakmonsters.

It can be a little bit hard for beginners, but you can learn the basics by reading on the How-to-play section on the site and joining the Discord server. It's definitely worth the 10$ for the starter pack. If you don't want to pay that, there are accounts by others that you can play, where you split the profit between you and the account owner (join the Discord server for more information).
