Late to the Party, But Stay if You Want

First, let me address everyone who has something negative to say about this game. 100% of the time, they are new players that got into the game after the July 27 2021 release of the Splintershards (SPS) Token. Which is Splinterlands in game token. When this was released the prices of cards skyrocketed due to the high demand from the influx of millions of new players. But if you were lucky enough to get in on the game even one day before the release of the Splintershards, the cards would have been much, MUCH cheaper.

For example, the Legendary Summoner Yodin Zaku, which I was lucky enough to receive from an airdrop during the Untamed series release is priced at $880 USD for a level 1 at the time of this post, and at almost $6500 for a level 4 with 11 of this card combined. (See provided screenshot) On July 26th, that would have cost about $20-$30 USD for a level 1. Literally overnight the prices jumped from a $30 card to a $300 card. I myself put in about $150-$180 USD in total over the course from Jan 2020 and on, and now my collection is worth over $4000 USD. I even bought a land plot at $20 when they were first released, and those are now worth over $600 at any given time. I've seen them go as high as $900.

So to anyone that says it's not profitable and not Play2Earn, I'm sorry you got in late, and maybe don't rent so many cards and you can actually save some of that DEC you earn. If you work your way up to silver, you will get minimum 7 DEC per win, without counting win streaks or Gold Foil cards. I was getting over 25 DEC when in silver and using an all Gold Foil lineup.

Take it from me, someone who has made back well over his investment in this game, IT'S LEGIT.
