Visa to the digital world. Why do you need cryptocurrency cards

The-A common argument for conventional money (also known as fiat currency) as opposed to cryptocurrency is that you cannot use cryptocurrency to buy groceries and other everyday goods. Well, with a cryptocurrency debit card, you can. This is a review of the Bitpay Card, one of the existing cryptocurrency debit cards. The Bitpay Card currently supports the following cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin; and Bitcoin Cash, but they will likely support even more cryptocurrencies in the future.

In terms of fiat currencies, the Bitpay Card only supports USD, and the company behind the Bitpay Card cites the following key benefits: instant reboot, flexibility, enhanced security, and global security. The instant reload is self-explanatory, it refers to the fact that it is easy for you to load the card through the wallet included in the Bitpay app. Flexibility is a little harder to grasp, but we interpret this to mean that the Bitpay card makes you a flexible person in terms of the available payment methods. The increased security is also self-explanatory and around the world refers to the number of different places you can use it or withdraw money from it. The Bitpay Card is a Mastercard, which means you can use the card at any point of payment that accepts Mastercard. This is certainly a big advantage considering that Mastercard (and VISA) are the most accepted cards in the world, and in our opinion, Bitpay Card charges quite competitive fees. Which means that the commissions here obviously cannot prevent its use. There are cards with lower fees, but definitely cards with higher fees. BitPay uses Galileo Financial Technologies' technology that allows the company to use APIs to sell Bitcoin in real time. The proceeds are then loaded onto the Galileo platform and transactions are processed using Mastercard payment rails.

For now, the card is only available in the US, but users from Europe can register on a waiting list on the company's website.

Any citizen of the Russian Federation can order a plastic card, the place of residence does not matter. You can only receive a card in Moscow or St. Petersburg in person or by a notarial power of attorney. The cost is about ten dollars. For registration, you need to verify on the site, you can replenish the card with cryptocurrency from an account in your Cryptopay account, transfers are made in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin or XRP. Developers do not charge a separate amount for service. There is a support service in Russian.
