Decred's main goal is to ensure that consensus and growth are long-term and efficient. They accomplish this by introducing a variety of governance and development features to the community on a regular basis.
Decred isn't a final product; it's characterized as "constantly developing" in order to provide the greatest possible experience for all parties involved. They have a lot of creative features planned for the future, and they're constantly open to user recommendations, so there's no limit to what they can do with the technology.
This project is rather old in terms of cryptoworld age. Decred's governance and better technology took some time to gain traction, but the market has now recognized them.
