Review on Collinite 845 Insulator Wax Fluid_Ounces by Matthew Fadoul

This is my first Collinite 845 purchase. I normally use Mother's Liquid Carnuba Wax. I love this Collinite 845 wax! I found it very easy to apply and wash off. Even more so than Mother's Liquid Carnuba, which was harder to apply and wash off. The trick to applying 845, as others have mentioned, is to heat the container in warm water. This will make the wax thinner and easier to apply. I use Collinite 845 as a final protective coat after removing surface contamination from the paint with Speedy Surface Prep - Fine Grade Mat. (amazing product) I then apply Chemical Guys Black Light Hybrid Radiant Finish Enhancer, another fantastic product that is super easy to apply. Finally I applied two coats of Collinite 845 to give it a protective layer by applying a thin coat and letting it sit for about two minutes before buffing with a microfiber cloth. Water goes well with this material. i am sold Just keep it away from the plastic trim. I've included several variations of our Dodge 1500 - a Hyundai Sonata (harder to tell by the white paint) - and the hood of our 2001 Chevy Suburban, fully trimmed with Collinite 845 Wax.
