I set it up right out of the box and connected it to the network. I put in about 20-30 shredder sheets and the shredder smelled very strongly of burnt electrical wires and the red light indicated the motor was overheating. I did this 4-5 times in about 1 hour, packed up the backup and sent it back.

I've had it for a few years, today I accidentally came across a metal object. Tried turning the teeth forward/back several times but the fuse stopped everything and prevented damage. Machine disassembled, interfering metal removed, teeth were not damaged, after reassembly everything worked fine

I loved the reviews and every "good" rating is absolutely right for this product. It takes up quite a bit of space, but it's worth it as it contains a lot of very finely ground confidential material. I even use it to stuff pillows so it's very recyclable! We are VERY happy with the purchase and recommend this shredder!

This shredder is very good but nothing is perfect in this price range. The feeder is fantastic. This requires pulling out all the staples and paper clips, but even then it's a much quicker process than feeding 10-14 sheets at a time. Even with the staples out, it still tries to feed multiple pages at once. Sometimes they happen, and sometimes they get stuck; but even with occasional traffic jams, it's still a much faster process.
