Size matters: Linear Motion Products

Perfect size for my project! I needed a linear actuator for a prosthetic project that would fit comfortably on the back of my hand and it fitted perfectly. πŸ‘Œ I will definitely take more for other small projects.

Too small for foam planes

These tiny servos are very weak and poorly made. I tried using them at 50% foot and they were too weak to even move the control surfaces on the bench. Then undress quickly. Garbage. The connector plugs were also not properly connected when delivered. Lesson learned. I'm sure they can be useful for something, but not planes IMHOP.

Good Idea Bad Execution

Comes with JST mini connector so you will need an adapter. You will then find that the wires on the actuator will not fit into the adapter. This is important when connecting it to an Arduino or a servo tester. Now the fun part: the drive hangs when power is applied. He will move and then stop (even if you ordered him to go to the other side). When you touch the lever, it moves. Besides, it gets hot.
