Description of Chemex Filter - 100 CT - Natural Square Coffee Filters for Enhanced Brewing Experience

Step 1: Fold the CHEMEX filter in half. Then fold in half again, bringing the two corners together. Place your finger between the 3rd and 4th layer and open into a funnel. Step 2: Place the funnel in the top portion of the CHEMEX coffeemaker, with 3 layers on the groove side. The groove is an air vent (and also the pouring spout) and allows air to escape from the lower portion of the coffeemaker, letting the coffee filter. Step 3: Put coffee in the filter paper cone. Use one heaping tablespoon per cup of coffee (adjust to personal taste if needed after first brew). Refer to brewing instructions for remaining steps. THICKER: 20-30% thicker than the competition, specialty fiber filter design keep bitter elements, oils, and grounds in their place (and out of your cup). Fits all CHEMEX Coffeemakers except CM-1, CM-1C, CM-1GH.

These filters are the magic of Chemex coffee makers

I've been making coffee for a long time. I used many techniques. I can pour water into an $18 Mr. Coffee Maker and get compliments and requests for my "secrets." My superfood secrets: - Use filtered water if your tap water tastes bad. - Use more ground coffee than you think. or put it in an air pot so you don't burn the Doo-Doo. - Clean your equipment. - Grind the beans just before brewing. - If you want a mild coffee with no bitterness and an oily finish or cold - Use brewing or Chemex filters

Large brown filters, almost a must for Chemex coffee machines

I will probably order more. SERVICE You will receive 100 12" x 12" squares of brown recycled paper, which are folded in half to make 100 6" x 6" square filters. You separate the 3rd and 4th layers of the folded square to form a funnel and place it on your Chemex - it fits all sizes. Then you pour in the coffee and top up the water. I was a little skeptical about the Chemex method, but it works well in that you don't mind spending a few minutes brewing coffee. These specialty filters should be…

Not sure if this is Chemex

I bought a Chemex for Prime Day and decided to get a box of these filters to go with it. When they got here the box looked like it had already been opened - the lid was open and the tab was folded back into the box. Having read another review suggesting these filters might be fake I decided to get another box from my local hardware store to compare. Here's what I found: - First of all - a box from my hardware store cost 8.99 net, about 70% of list price at the time of writing. Walking down the…
