Always take 3 pin and always good quality

Why 3 pin? For a cheap buy, most "Value" products are two-pronged products that are only good for basic devices. The 3-pin extension cable is suitable for all devices. Why quality? Again, cheap products can cause problems. Thinner wires overheat. Thinner insulation can cause electrocution, especially when wear and tear (and pets) take their toll over time. Fortunately, this Coleman cable is the perfect combination of product type (3-pin), quality and price. Would definitely recommend and will…

Mounts on the wall to the right of the outlet

For those of you who are still wondering, the 12ft version purchased August 2014 has the cord running down the right side. The key detail missing from most reviews is that this is when the EARTH (third prong) sets. Some outlets have an upward-pointing grounding prong, meaning the cord wraps up and to the left around the wall instead of down and to the right. Must be 'left' and 'right' options

I really like them because they fit snugly against the wall and are long enough to fit behind large furniture like a bed or sofa to be pulled out. However, two of them cannot be cleanly or conveniently connected to the same power source as they can only be connected one way. In other words, if your plug is behind your headboard and you need two extension cords to plug them into the nightstands on either side of your bed, it's not as convenient to use two of them.
