Activated Carbon Filter

Reasonably priced and fitting for an older device. How well does it work? Who knows. Of course I don't do chemical tests. Arrival time as announced.

They are absolutely ruthless. NOT SUITABLE I'm a single parent who now has a significant amount out of pocket since I bought two of these tricky filters.

Do not buy for older Omnifilter systems

Do not buy this CB3 filter if you have an older Omnifilter OT2. It's too big to fit in an apartment building. I ended up buying a GE FXSVC combo filter which was a perfect fit.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Sad packaging

It didn't fit my Omni Undersink CBF1 - very annoying. .

This doesn't fit my Omni Undersink CBF1 - very annoying. Apparently there are two different "CB1" filters that share the same name but are slightly different sizes. Yeh!

Make sure you get the right size

I was disappointed thinking I would buy the A version to fit the old canister. The plastic ends are too big and don't reach the canister. I have to remove the cap to use the filter. After passing water through, the coal granules stop crumbling.

Pros
  • Kitchen and bathroom accessories
Cons
  • There are new competitors
