Great for what they are

I had to buy them for my drawing course II. We examined the fabric in the spotlight and used compressed sticks (they're specifically for highlights) and I really liked it. They are lighter than I thought and they match perfectly

It is great! in Art, Painting & Crafts

This was exactly what I was looking for! Contrary to some reviewers, mine didn't arrive broken at all. They were in perfect condition and worked very well. It mixes great and is very smooth. The only reason the Conte pen broke is that it broke when I was using it, probably due to the pressure I was applying. I would definitely buy them again πŸ‘

Works better than white charcoal

In college I used a lot of pencil and also black charcoal, but I never worked with white charcoal. Well I've used it and I prefer the white Conte pen. In the photo I used pressed charcoal in black and white and then went over the eyes with a black and white Conte pencil. White pressed charcoal blends well, but is so flat that it doesn't layer well. The white Conte pencil is beautifully layered and makes the eyes pop. :)
